‘Steadfast in Surrender’ featuring Kalisha Pupello
As we go through life, we are always looking ahead, at our future self, our family, our professions with a natural desire to achieve in every aspect. But as Kalisha so authentically shares with us in today’s Take Away, we see the world around us and our own lives differently when we surrender to Jesus. As 1 Corinthians 15:58 makes clear, we must be “steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord’s work…”, meaning no matter what our role, we are to be laser focused on His work. And to know what that work is, we must be grounded in His Word. Before Christ there is a lot of ambition without purpose. But what He does with our lives, our surrendered lives, is so much better than what we could have imagined.
